Statement of significance:

Fine example of a Federation bungalow in a street dominated by similar buildings. Representative of the style and typical of the type of development characteristic of the vicinity.

Description

Physical description: An impressive Federation home, which despite some alteration has retained its character and setting. Key elements: slate roof with terracotta ridge capping; timber verandah posts and brackets; return verandah; leadlight panels featuring Australian fauna motifs to front door; oiel de bouef feature near front door; projecting gable with bay window on rusticated sandstone base; sandstone steps; tiled front path; rusticated sandstone retaining wall to street alignment; mature garden setting.

General Site Condition Intact. Sympathetic and Unsympathetic.

Modifications and dates: PDA - 13/10/98 - *Timber railing and verandah posts. *Brick paving to driveway - intrusive. *Garage cut into sandstone base (under verandah) not ideal but relatively well done.
