Statement of significance:

A large, elaborate residential hotel which is a good example of the Arts and Crafts style and is a major streetscape item on an important corner site. An impressive and attactive building which is characteristic in style and arragement of the building stock of this part of Neutral Bay.

Description

Physical description: A three storey roughcast rendered brick apartment building with hipped and gabled terracotta tile roof. It features timber balustrades and turned posts to verandahs, with a timber shingled spandrel and gable ends, semi-circular arched windows to the ground floor, projecting faceted bay windows and rusticated sandstone foundation courses with basement.
