Description

Physical description: One of a single storey brick pair of semi-detached houses (nos. 34 & 36 Whaling Road) with hipped slate tiled roof and central projecting decorative gable end, half-timbered and rough cast rendered. Each house is double-fronted, with a narrow recessed entry porch and a window bay. The timber framed windows are in a set of four casement windows, each with a two-pane fixed fanlight above. The spandrel between windows and ground level is finished in rusticated, random coursed stone.This building is designed in the Federation Bungalow style.
