Statement of significance:

House at 30 Lansdowne Street is of significance for the local area for historical and representativeness reasons. Built c.1910, it is readily identifiable as part of historic building stock and strongly contributes to the streetscape.

Construction years: 1910-
Physical description: Single storey Federation Arts and Crafts cottage, double fronted, has weatherboard walls and corrugated iron roof. Gablet steep hip roof is with projecting gable with decorative gable screen. Two brick chimneys are with two rows saw-tooth bricks below step and tall terracotta pots. Verandah has bullnose corrugated iron roof with hip corner, across front to projecting gable and return to west side. Casement windows on timber balustrade enclose side verandah. Square tapered timber posts support verandah. There is timber open scrolled valance between posts on the front side. Windows have scrolled timber undersills and reeded timber architraves. Window on the projecting gable has shingled skillion awning supported by ladder brackets and turned posts. Front door has transom light above glazed square upper pane and three recessed vertical timber panels below lock rail. Front fence is new timber picket fence and gate.
