Statement of significance:

This house is of significance for the local area for historical reasons and as a representative example of fine Federation period houses in the local area. The house, built c. 1912, strongly contributes to the streetscape, additionally enhanced by the adjacent historic houses in Crown Street which collectively illustrate the development history of the locality.

Description

Construction years: 1912-
Physical description: Fine single storey corner residence, originally of red brick but now rendered. The roof is clad in diamond-pattern tiles with terracotta ridge cappings. The house has a gambrel roof, a prominent corner turret with verandah with exposed rafters and paired stop chamfered timber posts, windows with rendered sloping sills and a small bull's eye window in verandah.
