Statement of significance:

House at 77 Weston Street is of significance for the local area for historical, aesthetic and representativeness reasons. Built c.1910, it is readily identifiable as part of historic building stock and is contributing to the streetscape and conservation area character with its scale, form and materials.

Construction years: 1910-
Physical description: Single storey Federation house with terracotta tiled roof with exposed rafters on tuck pointed brick walls. Flying gable to front elevation has projecting bay beneath gable. The timber barges with sunrise pattern in gable screen, with roughcast render in gables. Two tall spatterdash chimneys are with brick corbels and dentils below. Return verandah under main roof has concrete floor with stone etching, turned timber columns with timber sunrise/fan-shaped brackets below timber spindle ladder valance. Windows have sloping brick sills with soldier brick segmental arches. Transom lights are over sidelight and a five panelled timber front door with centre pane above lock rail and two glazed panes above.
