Physical description: Dated 1889. Impressive brick and stone church on prominent site. The finely crafted stonework is outstanding. Limited brick decoration as well. Decorative render on sides. Large pediment over main entry with smaller pediments on three windows above. Strong Classical influence with rounded, plastered columns. Corners truncated with further pedimented doors on each corner. Some good stained glass. Trussed timber and galvanised iron roof. Interior is in the style of a Classical Greek theatre.
