Construction years: 1905-
Physical description: Immaculate two storey, turn-of-the-century house, about 1905. Excellent example of transitional style with strong Queen Anne influence. Essentially rectangular plan with feature tower on one side. Connects with verandah and balcony which continue down one side. Hipped slate roof with bullnosed balcony roof of corrugated iron. Tower features arched entry to main door and castellated top. Very fine tuckpointed brick with extensive mouldings being a outstanding feature. These are a carry over from the Late Victorian period. Distinctly Edwardian is the timber balcony and verandah with simple but attractive posts and balcony balustrade. Timber infill to stone fence matches balustrading. Windows feature coloured glass panel. Magnificent front garden area including mature trees. The only alterations visible are security grilles, acceptable on windows but not on the main door.

Historical notes: Built on land subdivided under the Centenary Lands Act of 1905.
