Statement of significance:

Past Times, formerly the Travellers Rest, has a high degree of heritage significance being one of Cooma’s oldest surviving inns and part of the small group of similar inns dating from the gold rush era. It is a long low building, similar to the Lord Raglan, Cooma, and Settler’s Arms, Bunyan, whose designs are distinctly different to later hotels. It has landmark qualities owing to being prominently sited beside the main entrance to Cooma from the south.
