Statement of significance:

A good representative example of the early housing in Frenchs Forest.

Construction years: 1900-1925
Physical description: Federation period timber weatherboard cottage with hipped & gabled tile roof. Original iron roofing is apparently underneath existing faux tiles. Some alterations & additions evident with the enclosure of the front verandah. Good quality, well established garden with rows of mature Crepe Myrtle trees a major feature.


Historical notes: One of the oldest buildings surviving in Frenchs Forest. The house originally had a much larger area of land. Trees from the original grounds of the house are evident in nearby Gilbert Place Reserve.
