Statement of significance:

Good example of International style. Art Deco flats in light and dark brick. Good corner building, little altered. Part of a good period grouping at this six-way intersection. Local significance.

Construction years: 1915-1945
Physical description: Very good, Art Deco/International style flats, with shopfronts on corner. Probably c. 1940. Two storeys with low parapet. Light and dark brick with rounded corners, including corners to feature, central recess (Hastings Parade elevation). Shopfronts retain most tiling and some original glazing. Stepped steel awning enhances streetscape impact on corner site. No major alterations and well maintained.
