Statement of significance:

Impressive, early twentieth century, brick chapel and hall forming a complementary pair. Both buildings essentially intact. Local historical and community interest. Local significance.

Construction years: 1890-1915
Physical description: Early twentieth century brick church and weatherboard hall. Both in ecclesiastical Gothic style. Church in face brick with smooth and moulded render used for decoration. Excellent bell cradle. Circular feature window below with coloured glass. Projecting gabled entry. Essentially unaltered. Hall is a simple gabled structure with lancet windows and Gothic arched door. Original fence, incorporating stone and bevelled bricks, links the two buildings.

Historical notes: The first Church of England at Bondi Junction. Built in 1902. Adjacent hall opened as a Sunday School c. 1911. Brick fence and iron gates erected in 1933. (Bondi Junction Heritage Study).
