Statement of significance:

Interesting, individual example of an Inter-War Spanish Mission style flat building. Good example of the work of architect, EW Sankey. Especially notable for the way the designer exploited the wedge shaped allotment. Otherwise typical of the style and essentially unaltered. Recorded in the publication, Identifying Australian Architecture, as an illustrative example of the style. Regional significance. Sources: National Trust listing form. Apperly et al, Identifying Australian Architecure, Angus & Robertson, 1989 (p. 177).
