Statement of significance:

Outstanding sandstone cliffs and rock shelving of natural and scenic value. Vantage point for spectacular views along coastline. Conserves vestiges of native vegetation. Local significance.

Physical description: Sandstone cliffs (about 50m above sea level) and natural sandstone rock shelving on headland. Vantage point for extensive views out to sea, to headlands to both north and south, and across Waverley Cemetery. Vestiges of native vegetation in rock crevices include Westringia fruticosa (Coast rosemary), Lomandra longifolia (Matt rush), Carpobrutus aequifolius (Pig face), Rulingia (?), Melaleuca nodosa (?), Banksia integrifolia (Coast banksia), Scirpus sp. (reeds) and Hibbertia scandens. Mirror bush growing as a weed. Recent planting of local native species is generally sympathetic to this landscape.
