Statement of significance:

Long section of coursed sandstone wall, retaining high side of split level road. Period road layout and construction of aesthetic, historical and landscape interest. Townscape feature reflective of civil engineering and town planning practices of the time. Local significance.

Construction years: 1921-1940
Physical description: Stone retaining wall of split level street section. Wall about 1 to 1.5m high and extending about 150m. Split level construction a response to the local steep topography. There is a section of stone edged garden beds on part of the grassed embankment above the retaining wall.
