Description

Construction years: 1925-1926
Physical description: A large Inter-War house in a commanding position overlooking the Parramatta River with a verandah extending across the frontage set on a high base to take advantage of the views. The house is face brick with good detailing.

History

Historical notes: Ruth Tripcony purchased this property in 1919 and took out a mortgage in 1925. The Tripcony family are first recorded as living in the house in 1926 and retained ownership of the house until1952.
