Description

Construction years: 1910-
Physical description: An impressive Federation house on a corner site, c.1910. It consists of a complex slate roof with a basic double L-shaped plan. There are verandahs on two sides with an attractive gablet at (not on) the corner. The gablet is in pressed metal. The simple but extensive timber decoration, includes exposed rafter eaves. The gables have attractive roughcast motifs. A rectangular bay runs up to the front gable. Decorative timberwork is also formed on the front gable and teh window hood below. The house exhibits some excellent leadlighting.
