Statement of significance:

A very fine example of the later Federation Arts and Crafts style residence with excellent detailing and an imposing waterfront location. One of the finest surviving waterfront houses in the area.

Description

Physical description: A fine waterfront house in a commanding position on top of the hill which has retained its waterfront form and has had additions to the rear including a garage which is out of character with the original house. The detailing is of high quality and demonstrates fine timberwork and the major features of late Federation design. The house is two levels with a high pitched gabled roof and varies greatly from the surrounding earlier Federation houses which are generally single level with low pitched roofs.
