Statement of significance:

This late Georgian style brick and iron cottage is of local heritage significance for its complimentary styling with other Cooma Street properties. It is significant as the home and potential practice of veterinary surgeon Edward Gordon Millsom who was a leading veterinarian in the region and horse trainer and driver in Goulburn trotting. He lived there from approximately 1926 until 1936.

Physical description: Brick and tile cottage with single garage, and brick and iron fence

History

Historical notes: Gordon Edward Millsom lived at the cottage from approximately 1926 until 1936. He was born into a family of horsemen at Collingwood in 1885. He was a veterinary surgeon and by the 1920s he was the regions leading veterinarian.
