Statement of significance:

No. 276:The architectural features of this large two-storey Victorian Gothic style building make it of high local heritage significance and a major feature of the Bourke Street streetscape;
No. 278: A Federation style Bungalow which highlights the transitional architectural phase of the early 20th century. It is a fine example and contributes significantly to the streetscape of Bourke Street.
Both dwellings contribute to the streetscape of Bourke Street and have appropriate and contributing front fences and setbacks.
