Good example of rural architecture of the 1919 period. An excellent vernacular building that contributes to the landscape.

Construction years: 1919-1919
Physical description: A Federation style four (originally three) bedroom brick cottage with surrounding verandahs and corrugated iron roof, with weather-board extension of approx 90 sqare metres at the rear. This extension includes a modern kitchen replacing the original structure.
Date condition updated:23 Apr 01
Modifications and dates: The main brick section of the cottage remains substantially unaltered, the east and west verandahs have been enclosed, one forming the additional bedroom. The rear of the building has been extensively modified and extended from the original structure.
Current use: Currently used as Residence for Farm Foreman
Former use: Manager,s Residence.

Built in 1919 as the Manager,s residence, has housed a succession of Station Managers. Demonstrative of the standard of accommodation afforded to the Manager of like facilities in the early 1900s. A good example of the architecture of the early 1900s

Integrity/Intactness: Retains the original external features of the front section of the cottage, with the east and west verandahs being enclosed. There has been substantial modifications to the rear of the cottage.

Recommended management:

Continue to be used as residence. The external features of the verandahs and main brick section of the building to be retained.
