Designer/Maker: James Barnet
Physical description: Two storey plus basement stone and slate building with verandah, timber framed awning and corrugated iron verandah roof. Verandah floor of concrete supported on stone piers below. Stone chimney.

Former use: Digby House & Senior Medical Officer's House


Historical notes: Tenders for the erection of the Medical Superintendent's Residence were called early in 1878. The building appears to have continued to have been used as the Superintendent's throughout this century. Internal alterations including the bathroom were made in 1951. The building was restored for its new use as the Medical Board Offices in 1989.
Exterior substantially conserved in c.1990. Interior substantially conserved and adapted for office use c.1990.
