Group of three cottages on southern side of Taralga Road.

Description

Physical description: Small brick cottage of Federation period. Solid brick walls with weatherboard and skillion roof additions. New concrete tile roof.
Condition: Good condition.
Degree of Intactness: Intact apart from later (1950 & 1980) additions.
Date condition updated:01 Sep 93
Modifications and dates: 1950, 1980
Further information: Recommended management policy as per Kenmore Hospital Complex, Goulburn: Conservation Plan - Volume 3 (1994).
Retain in present use.
Current use: Cottage

History

Historical notes: Refer to Kenmore Hospital Complex for site history.
The 1945 army site plan records NSW Department of Health buildings on the site but this cottage is not shown. This suggests that the cottage was not originally part of the hospital complex and was purchased some time after World War II.
