Statement of significance:

Mt Murray is a good small timber station building in a location close to Sydney. It is representative of many small structures that have been removed from the rail system as branch lines and small locations have become redundant over a long period of time. Very few similar structures remain and its significance is increased by its rarity.
Note: The State Heritage Inventory provides information about heritage items listed by local and State government agencies. The State Heritage Inventory is continually being updated by local and State agencies as new information becomes available. Read the OEH copyright and disclaimer.
