History

The schooner Annie Cochrane (Official Number 71803) had a chequered life! The vessel was reported wrecked at Manning River  on 19 February 1875 and then at the entrance to the Nambucca (Nambuccra) River on 12 June 1881. Eventually, there is a note in the registry advising that the Annie Cochrane had foundered on Tuesday 24 February 1891 near 'M' reef, Claremont Islands in North Queensland.

Comments: The vessel was 'wrecked' at Manning River in 1875 and Nambucca River in 1881/6/12. It was refloated and re-registered as 55/1881 and wrecked on reef at Claremont Island North Queensland in 1891.
