Home Energy Action Program
The Home Energy Action Program delivers energy efficiency improvements to low-income households across the state by helping them access energy-saving appliances and home improvements. The evaluation shows that the program saved 253,066 MWh of energy for program participants.
Measuring savings from energy efficiency programs in NSW
These evaluation reports verify the energy and cost savings generated by the NSW Energy Efficiency Strategy which ran from 2007-2013.
Energy Efficiency for Small Business Program
This program provided businesses with an on-site energy assessment and a tailored energy action plan. The evaluations show 93% of participants have implemented all or part of their plan.
Energy Efficiency Training Program
This award winning program focussed on improving businesses’ skills and knowledge in energy efficiency. Over 4 years it had 14,100 participants.
Energy Saver programs
These programs focused on energy efficiency for businesses. The evaluations look at the program and participants’ progress and costs.

Government Building Retrofit Program
This consisted of two programs, a small sites pilot in the Hunter, Illawarra and Sydney; and a large sites program which focussed on the largest energy-using services developing energy savings projects.
Home Power Savings Program
This program engaged with over 225,000 low income households. The evaluations provide detailed data which will help with future program development.
Home Saver Rebates program
This program provided financial incentives to households to choose energy and water efficient appliances and collectively, $1 billion in energy bills.
Our Place Regional Initiative
This initiative aims to connect communities with local environmental and sustainability activities and has so far reached 3500 people.
