Every 3 years since 1994, the former Office of Environment and Heritage has conducted a survey of the NSW community and discussion groups to track trends in the public’s environmental views, priorities, knowledge and actions.
Full reports and data tables and other supporting documents are available for download – except for the 1994 and 1997 reports, which are available in printed form only and can be viewed by request to the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment on 1300 361 967 or (02) 9995 5555.
The ninth survey in the Who Cares series was scheduled for delivery in 2018 but has been postponed until 2019. This is to allow for the research project to be updated in line with the strategic needs of users.
