These amendments propose a multi-day walking track network linking Tweed Shire via Mount Jerusalem National Park to the visitor hub at Minyon Falls in Nightcap National Park. Improvements to visitor facilities and new visitor facilities are also proposed. Minor amendments are also required to the Whian Whian State Conservation Area Plan of Management to incorporate some elements of a visitor facility upgrade at Minyon Falls located on the border of Nightcap National Park and Whian Whian State Conservation Area.

The amendments also acknowledge declaration of an Aboriginal Place in Wollumbin National Park in 2014 and the incorporation of Mount Warning National Park in Wollumbin National Park in 2006.
