Landholding information
List all lot and deposited plan (DP) numbers applicable to the land to be included in the Map Review. Attach a separate list if required. The online map viewer can be used to identify the land to be reviewed.

My supporting information

If the area you wish to be reviewed is a portion of a single lot or more than one area over single or multiple lots, you must attach a map of your property showing each separate area clearly outlined and labelled. You can save and print your property image using the online map viewer, annotate your map and then attach a copy of your map to this application.

To complete a map review we require information about where the areas of concern are, the landuse history and what category you believe the land should be. Please complete the ‘Area to be reviewed’ section for each area labelled on your property map. Information about land use history should be included where it has an influence on your Reason for Review.

We recommend you look at the Examples tab on the Map Review webpage for examples of supporting information is required to undertake a map review.

Please nominate an Area Reference from your map and enter the reasons for review. If you wish to have more than one area reviewed, click on Add another area for review and provide information for each area.

Area to be reviewed

Please provide specific information as the reason for review: e.g. I believe the mapping of the watercourse adjoining my property is incorrectly mapped – e.g. My incentive Property Vegetation Plan has expired – e.g. I believe my property does not contain any critically endangered ecological communication as described on the NVR map because:

The Local Land Services Act makes determinations about the categorisation of land based on it landuse status as at 1 January 1990. e.g. land shown as cleared of native vegetation before this date is mapped as Category 1 exempt land. Land management history provided here helps reviewers pinpoint historical mapping images and helps determine if the transitional NVR Mapping is accurate. Provide a brief comment about land management activities relevant to the area you want reviewed.

Categorisation of land in this timeframe depends on clearing that may have occurred in this period and whether or not that clearing was authorised. e.g. land not cleared of native vegetation or land unlawfully cleared in this period is mapped as Category 1 regulated land. Provide a brief comment about land management activities relevant to the area you want reviewed.

On 25 August 2017 Part 5A of the Local Land Services Act commenced and the transitional Native Vegetation Regulatory Map was published. Land management history provided here is used by reviewers to check mapping images to verify land management practises undertaken and match them to the mapping of categories on your property. Provide a brief comment about land management activities relevant to the area you want reviewed.

e.g. map showing mis-alignment attached – e.g. copy of agreement and map attached.
