Cephalofovea pavimenta – preliminary determination
The NSW Threatened Species Scientific Committee has made a preliminary determination to list the Mount Canobolas velvet worm, Cephalofovea pavimenta Reid, Tait, Briscoe & Rowell, 1995 as a critically endangered species. This proposal is open for comment until 2 October 2026.
Cephalofovea pavimenta Reid, Tait, Briscoe & Rowell proposed critically endangered species documents on exhibition include:

The NSW Threatened Species Scientific Committee assesses which species are eligible for listing as threatened.
