Saving our Species delivers the Biodiversity Conservation Program under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016. Saving our Species conservation strategies are developed for any species listed as threatened and are used to inform threatened species management in New South Wales.

Public consultation

The southern greater glider conservation strategy identifies the species priority management area and details the threats and management actions required to secure the future of the species. 

This public consultation period provides an important opportunity for members of the community to have a say in the management of this threatened species in New South Wales.

Next steps

After consultation, we consider all public feedback and make any required amendments before the conservation strategy is approved and adopted.

Once the draft conservation strategy is adopted, it will be published in the Saving our Species public register of conservation strategies.

Submissions may be made publicly available unless you advised us otherwise.
