The draft Currango Precinct Plan was on public exhibition until 23 August 2021. Public exhibition of the draft precinct plan provides members of the community with the opportunity to have a say in the management of the Currango Homestead precinct.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service has developed a draft master plan for the Currango Homestead precinct. This master plan includes proposals to undertakeminor interior modifications to the homestead to separate it into two wings, improvement of the kitchens and furnishings and to develop a new caretakers cottage and two additional three bedroom cottages. The proposals of the draft plan are consistent with the conservation management plan for this site.
A precinct plan for Yarrangobilly Caves was also on public exhibition.
