The draft Yarrangobilly Caves Precinct Plan was on public exhibition until 23 August 2021. Public exhibition of the draft precinct plan provided members of the community with the opportunity to have a say in the management of the Yarrangobilly Caves precinct.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service has developed a draft master plan for the Yarrangobilly Caves precinct. This master plan includes proposals to upgrade the 1901 wing of Caves House to the standard of the recently restored 1917 wing, improve access and amenity of the thermal pool and to develop a new visitors centre and café, a cultural heritage trail, and additional cottages and eco cabins. The proposals of the draft plan are consistent with the conservation management plan for this site.
A precinct plan for Currango Homestead was also on public exhibition.
