The National Parks and Wildlife Service sought public comments on 2 proposals to grant leases over areas in the Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area.
Proposal to grant a lease to Wild Bush Luxury Pty Ltd
Pursuant to Section 151 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, the Minister administering the National Parks and Wildlife Act proposes to grant Wild Bush Luxury Experience Pty Ltd ACN 648 431 734 a lease of 4 of the 5 areas identified as supported accommodation nodes on the multi-day walk in the Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area plan of management.
The 4 areas to be leased will be finalised once National Parks and Wildlife Service has determined the final walking route. The proposed lease will permit the development and management of low-impact visitor accommodation in the accommodation nodes to support multi-day guided walking experiences within the Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area. The proposed term of the lease is 20 years.
The accommodation nodes are identified on the map, which is also set out on page 13 of the plan of management.
Proposal to grant a lease to Trees Adventure Holdings Pty Ltd
Pursuant to Section 151 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974, the Minister administering the National Parks and Wildlife Act proposes to grant Trees Adventure Holdings Pty Ltd ACN 604 827 027 a lease of part of the area identified as the Lost City Adventure Precinct in the Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area plan of management.
The proposed lease will permit the development and operation of a multi-activity adventure, which includes ziplines, via ferrata and suspension bridges. The proposed term of the lease is 20 years.
The Lost City Adventure Precinct is identified on the map, which is also set out on page 13 of the plan of management.
