By installing efficient water infrastructure and appliances, the NSW Government can become more resilient to future water shortages, while leading by example in the procurement of water-efficient products

The NSW Government spent nearly $120 million on water consumption in 2018-19, which is a 10% decrease in expenses since the previous financial year.
The graph below shows a four-year trend towards decreased water consumption. In 2018-19, it was down almost 1000 megalitres (3.2%) compared to last year.
