Reports and other publications

The Native Vegetation Act 2003 and the Native Vegetation Regulation 2013 were repealed on 25 August 2017. For information on the new arrangements for managing native vegetation, visit the Land Management website.

The Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) has compiled a collection of information about native vegetation management in New South Wales. It includes:


OEH has developed a number of reports that show native vegetation statistics for New South Wales. These include the NSW Report on Native Vegetation, which combines 4 reports:

  • Native Vegetation report card
  • Private Native Forestry report card
  • Woody Change report card
  • Compliance and Enforcement report card.

The previous versions of the reports are also available.

Other publications
