Dobroyd Head bush regeneration

A serene location in the middle of Sydney where you can sit under the trees and tackle the remaining weeds. This site has seen countless hours of volunteer assistance and is now a credit to those who have worked so hard to make it so beautiful. There are orchids, beautiful Botryoides and magnificent woodland which is now an Aboriginal repatriation site. The beach is stunning and a great place to cool off after some tough weeding.

Location: Reef Beach – end of Beatty Street, Dobroyd Head, Sydney Harbour National Park

Every 3rd Sunday of the month

Bush regeneration at Crater Cove

A small number of enthusiastic bush regeneration volunteers are needed to join our Crater Cove bush regeneration group. This group has been working over many years to remove weeds and restore the native bushland around Crater Cove, at the base of Dobroyd Head. The group meets one Sunday morning a month. Volunteers will be provided with tools and a light morning tea.
