Air quality in the Namoi/North West Slopes region was good throughout all of spring 2022, and all stations met national benchmarks1 on 100% of days. Good air quality across the region was sustained by the prevailing climate conditions. A very wet season with above-average rainfall for all spring months, cooler temperatures, and improved ground cover reduced dust activity.
