The purpose of the Environmental Water Advisory Group is determined by the role they fulfil in water sharing plans, under the Water Management Act 2000 and in relation to the Commonwealth’s Basin Plan 2012. They are a vehicle for government and community partnership in using environmental water for beneficial environmental outcomes.
