All general government sector agencies (NSW Treasury, 2015–16) are required to report annually on policy targets, actions and minimum standards by publishing financial year data and a statement of compliance.

This report gives details of government progress over the first year of the policy. Progress is based on data collated by the Office of Environment and Heritage, and supplemented by reports provided by general government sector agencies. The report is divided into two sections: compiled financial year data, and compiled statements of compliance.
