There was a large reduction in dust activity in April 2017 compared to the previous month; however, the values were higher compared to the April average since 2010. Most of dust was in the southern part of the network and occurred on 9 April. Strong south westerly winds that exceeding 50km/h at some sites caused the widespread dust.
