Application fees for using NSW national parks and reserves for commercial filming or photography.

Vehicle Entry Fees Payable upon entering a fee-charging park. One vehicle is granted free entry for the duration of the filming activity.

Other Fees

  • Additional unforeseen costs (e.g. unplanned time delays, additional supervision incurred after the Agreement is signed) will be deducted from the Environmental Management Bond.
  • A major revision to the proposal will incur an additional cost of 75% of the Application and Assessment Fee. A major revision arises where significant changes occur in the location, timing or nature of the filming activity, or where the approval requires consideration of a number of new matters.
  • Accommodation and transport costs, where applicable, will be charged to the applicant.

Environmental Management Bond

National Parks and Wildlife Service may retain part of or the entire Environmental Management Bond to cover any unexpected costs due to filming.

Any damage caused by the filming over and above the amount of the bond will incur a financial penalty for the cost of restoration work.

Payment can be made by credit card, cheque or cash (if paying in person).
