The air quality monitoring plan meets the requirements of the National Environment Protection (Ambient Air Quality) Measure (AAQ NEPM), Part 4, Section 10, which obliges each jurisdiction to provide a plan explaining how it intends to monitor air quality under this measure.
Based on the analysis, the current air quality monitoring network in the Lower Hunter and Central Coast regions will continue to operate to ensure the continuity of long-term data and support ongoing air quality evaluation across the regions.
