The Koala Habitat Information Base offers the best available statewide spatial data on koala habitat, koala preferred trees and koala sightings for New South Wales.

The spatial data layers can be downloaded from the Sharing and Enabling Environmental Data (SEED) Portal.

The Koala Habitat Information Base has been developed as part of the NSW Koala Strategy, a $44.7 million investment that sets out the first phase of actions to first stabilise, then increase koala numbers in New South Wales over the long-term.
