The review identified evidence of koala use for 137 tree species across New South Wales. The patterns of koala tree use across New South Wales and at regional levels reflect the complex interplay between the requirements of individual koalas (for food, shelter and social needs) and access to trees of a necessary quality and diversity to satisfy those needs.
