Events management guidelines
An overview of the assessment and approval process for external events delivered in NSW national parks.
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service undertakes an
assessment of all events to limit any impacts on the natural, historic and cultural values of the park,
park management operations, other park users and the surrounding community.

These event guidelines are designed to provide transparency of the process of assessing events
and to assist prospective event organisers in the approval requirements for staging events on lands
that are reserved or acquired under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 and managed by the
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
