The $15 million Energy Efficiency for Small Business Program (EESBP) was developed for businesses that have an energy use of up to about $20,000 (up to160MWh per annum) or have the equivalent of up to around 10 full time staff. The EESBP was launched in February 2009 and to date over 16,500 businesses have registered to the program. The EESBP provides a participating business with a customised energy assessment that identifies where electricity is being used, and a tailored action plan with electricity and cost saving
recommendations.
