Hibbertia superans Toelken - preliminary determination

The NSW Threatened Species Scientific Committee, established under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016, has made a preliminary determination to support a proposal to list the shrub Hibbertia superans Toelken as a critically endangered species in Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Act and, as a consequence, to omit reference to Hibbertia superans Toelken in Part 2 of Schedule 1 (Endangered Species). This proposal is open for comment until 3 October 2025.

The NSW Threatened Species Scientific Committee assesses which species are eligible for listing as threatened.

The exhibition of this preliminary determination provides an opportunity for the community to comment or provide additional information relevant to the assessment.
