Toorale National Park and Toorale State Conservation Area were purchased by the NSW Government as Toorale Station in 2008. Together, the combined area of the national park and state conservation area is 85,251 hectares that represents one of the 15 largest parks in the State. It is located at the junction of the Darling and Warrego rivers, in the semi-arid environment of north-west New South Wales. This draft plan has been developed with input from the Kurnu-Baakandji Joint Management Committee, local community members and key stakeholders.
