NSW VIS Classification Web 2.1: Public User Manual

This manual is for public users and provides support in the operations of the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage’s Vegetation Information System Classification Database version 2.1. It is presented as a step-by-step approach and includes relevant additional documentation to assist users. It also includes information links from the the web database pages.

The Vegetation Information System Classification (VIS Classification) is the database for plant community types in NSW. The aim of the NSW VIS Classification database is to produce a consistent hierarchical vegetation classification of NSW plant community types, and to provide public access to information on these plant community types.
